OBSESSED!

OK, so apparently I have a problem... I'm obsessed with "Black & White!" I never even realized it until I went shopping with my Mom the other day and after picking up several items and exclaiming "Oooh! Pretty!" my Mom turned to me and said "Shannon, do you realize almost everything you've looked at today was Black & White?"   *LIGHTBULB! BING!*  I was like, "Wow, you're right!" (Isn't it amazing sometimes how we never really realize something about ourselves until someone else points them out to us? Well, it amazes me anyway.) Upon returning home I looked at my wardrobe and noticed a majority of my clothes were black, white, or a combination of the two (although a lot of that is because our "uniform" at work is all black, all the time)... my two favorite L.A.M.B. handbags are black & white, my favorite dress is a long black & white zebra print, the pair of shoes I seem to always reach for are a black & white snakeskin... it goes on, and on, and on.

I then began looking at the files on my computer where I save the pictures I find on the internet and guess what... Black & White all over!!! For instance...

And almost every one features a zebra print rug (another obsession???) or black & white stripes of some kind. I wonder why I'm so attracted to black & white? Is it the simplicity of it? The chicness and glamor? The drama? Hmmm... I'm not sure all I know is I love it! And now that I know this I'm off to buy the Black & White striped rug tiles from FLOR I've had my eye on for months now...  ;)
